With a troop our size, news, information and updates about Troop 51 will soon move to Google Groups. If you'd like to get or continue to receive information about Troop 51, you will need to subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any point. Avoid interruption of info; sign-up NOW. For "how" see below.

What benefits will you see?

· The ability to subscribe or "opt in" and unsubscribe or "opt out" any and all email addresses you have.

· If you change email addresses, you can change it in the group, yourself!

· Unsubscribe at any point if you no longer want to get troop info.

· Ability to review past messages at the Google Group link on-line (the link is below).

· Protects your email address better against SPAM (unsolicited and/or undesired emails that are junk).

Also, various Troop 51 members in leadership can access the group list and send messages with assurance that the message will get to the entire group, and up-to-date list of those who subscribe.

How do I “sign-up” or subscribe?

1. To avoid trouble, you'll want to add the following addresses to your "safe list" so they don't get filtered out as SPAM:

noreply@googlegroups.com

2. Send an email to: troop51frisco+subscribe@googlegroups.com

Once you email the "sign-up" address above, you will get an acknowledgement email that needs one more action. It will have a confirmation link.

Once you click the link and allow a browser to open, you will see a confirmation that you are subscribed. (Note: The email will come from noreply@googlegroups.com, so you'll want to add that to your safe list before you send the "sign-up" email.)
